The picture is of a Sitka house built in 1886, as it was in the 1930s, the snow and the people are made up. This house was the home of Alaska Native civil rights leader Tillie Paul, and is where her sons the Alaska Native civil rights leaders William and Lewis Paul spent their childhood.
